Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Business Service Officer to lead a team of Support Professionals at the Maryland branch. The role reports to the Market Business Service Officer and focuses on operations, people management, and service excellence.

The BSO will partner with Sales, Risk and HR to implement service initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure policy compliance while delivering high quality client experiences. A Bachelor’s degree and applicable licenses are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• Active Series 7 (GS), Series 9 and Series 10 (SU), and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required.
• Knowledge of Firm's Risk & Compliance policies and ability to manage budgets and expenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Branch in executing strategic priorities with coaching to ensure consistency, quality and compliance.
• Supervise and mentor a team of Support and Service Professionals.
• Partner with Market Sales and Risk teams to ensure execution of service initiatives.
