Job summary

Waldensecurity seeks a Training & Development Coordinator to plan, schedule, and facilitate instructor-led training across security programs. You will manage certifications, licensing, and onboarding records, and partner with HR/Operations to align training with business needs.

The role requires mentoring new hires, testing progress, and occasional travel up to 50% to deliver programs. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Competency in coordinating and delivering trainer-led programs.
• Ability to mentor and guide new employees during training.
• Proven track record of effective classroom and workshop delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct all instructor-led training (ISOT, re-training, annual In-Service, firearms, safety, orientation).
• Advise on training content and certifications; share updates and best practices.
• Communicate licensing and training requirements with HR/Operations.
• Schedule new-hire training around business needs.
• Identify and solve problems; drive continuous improvement.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops for internal/external customers.
• Test trainees to measure progress and effectiveness.
• Mentor and report trainee progress to HR/Leadership.
• Maintain training/licensing records in LMS; correct discrepancies.
• Support recruiting activities, drug screening, onboarding paperwork.
• Oversee uniform orders, inventory, and room cleanliness.
• Travel up to 50% to provide required training.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
