Job summary

Walden Security is seeking a Training Administrator to plan, schedule, coordinate, and present instructor-led training for security personnel across the branch. The role includes onboarding support, licensing tracking, and maintaining compliance documentation.

The position requires collaboration with HR/Operations, subject-matter expertise on training content, and regular travel up to 50% to deliver programs and audits.

Qualifications

• Must have current NC PPSB armed/unarmed guard card.
• Current NC PPSB unarmed instructor certification.
• Armed NC PPSB instructor certification preferred.
• Armed/Unarmed SC SLED instructor certifications preferred along with NC PPSB instructor certs.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college education desirable.
• 1–2 years of professional-level experience in security or related field.
• Experience in security operations or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct all instructor-led training for ISOT and other programs.
• Provide updates to training content as a subject-matter expert and advise leadership on new requirements.
• Coordinate licensing and training status with HR and Operations teams.
• Schedule new-hire training classes around business needs.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate internal and external training sessions and workshops as directed by leadership.
• Test trainees to measure progress and training effectiveness.
• Maintain licensing and training records in the Learning Management System.
• Support recruiting activities and onboarding paperwork for new employees.
• Oversee uniform orders and inventory; ensure room cleanliness.
