Job summary

S&T Bank is seeking a Branch Customer Service Associate to profile customers, refer them to appropriate Lines of Business, and open loan and deposit accounts. You will support the Branch Manager and strive to achieve individual sales goals in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires completing frontline and sales training, applying product knowledge, and maintaining superb customer service. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus specialized training or a two-year degree.
• Five to ten years of general business experience; one to two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Successful completion of PB requirements and the retail training program.

Responsibilities

• Profile customers to determine financial services needs and refer customers to other Lines of Business when appropriate.
• Open loan and deposit accounts and support Branch Manager.
• Complete frontline, Platform Sales & RSS Operational training as assigned.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, sales aptitude, and service expectations.
• Execute S&T sales conversations and use appropriate systems for profiling customers.
