Job summary

CBS Bank is seeking a Branch Manager to plan, direct, and organize all branch operations and sales activities in line with bank policies. You will lead staff, manage the loan portfolio, and drive community engagement while ensuring profitability and compliance.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong leadership, and the ability to analyze financial information to inform loan decisions. You will be responsible for budget control, scheduling, and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from an accredited college with a concentration in accounting/finance preferred, or equivalent related experience.
• Two to three years of retail banking, consumer and commercial lending experience.
• Minimum of one to two years supervisory experience.
• Strong personal leadership skills, organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and summarize complex financial information and present recommendations for appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

• Generates new business by conducting business development calls on existing customers and prospective customers to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Supervises all branch personnel; trains, directs and coaches staff and conducts reviews.
• Maintains an active role in community and civic affairs.
• Establishes and manages the branch loan portfolio; interviews loan applicants and analyzes financial information.
• Presents loan requests above lending authority to loan committee for approval; maintains branch budget and profitability.
