Job summary

Heritage Bank NW in Bellingham, WA seeks a Branch Relationship Manager for the NW Avenue Branch. You will lead a retail branch, drive deposits, loans, and fee income, while delivering exceptional customer service in line with Heritage Bank standards.

You will mentor staff, develop business plans, ensure compliance, and represent the bank in the local community through outreach and cross-selling across lines of business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a retail banking branch environment.
• Minimum 2 years in direct leadership/management.
• High School diploma required; associates preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage branch to meet deposits, fee income, loan production and goals.
• Mentor and train staff in relationship selling and cross-selling.
• Develop and monitor annual/quarterly business plans for profitability.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk controls within policies.
• Represent the bank in the local community through events.
