Job summary

Dime Community Bank is seeking a Branch & Private Banking Operations Specialist at its Hauppauge, NY headquarters. The role supports branch operations and Private Banking, serving as a primary contact for operational questions and ensuring adherence to policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include IRA transaction reviews, new account support, and process improvement across the branch and Private Banking network. This is an in-office role with salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2+ years banking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IRA rules and regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Review IRA transactions to ensure accurate documentation.
• Support branch and Private Banking network with new accounts, withdrawals, RMDs, and transfers for the IRA portfolio.
• Oversee and review branch and Private Banking compliance with regulatory requirements (BSA, CIP, Reg D, Reg CC, Reg DD).
• Assist Business Process Manager and Integrated Teller applications as needed.
• Monitor Service Desk ticketing system and contribute product knowledge.
• Write/modify branch procedures to improve efficiency across the network.
