Job summary

KEMBA Financial Credit Union is seeking a Branch Operations Quality Controls Manager to drive branch operational excellence, oversee quality control programs, audit readiness, risk mitigation, cash management, and regulatory compliance across the organization. The role partners with branch leadership to enforce internal controls and deliver strong member service.

This position leads coaching, onboarding, and performance management for operations staff, and coordinates with Internal Audit, Risk,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in financial institution operations, branch management, quality control/audit coordination, or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of branch operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, compliance, and service excellence.
• Direct and supervise daily activities of associates; coach and develop staff.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and performance management for direct reports.
• Coordinate branch quality control reviews, assessments, and remediation activities.
• Lead cash management activities, inventory, vault, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, Legal and external Auditors to maintain strong controls.
• Drive process improvements to strengthen risk controls and enhance member experience.
