Job summary

Hoffman- seeks a Branch Operations Manager to lead both the Service and Construction departments, reporting to the Regional Operations Manager. You will drive safe, profitable delivery of building automation projects and service agreements while pursuing new construction opportunities to expand the branch in a growth market.

The role combines technical operations leadership with business development, requiring collaboration with general contractors, engineers, and owners to position the branch

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or electrical contracting.
• 3+ years in a management role leading project and/or service teams.
• Deep technical understanding of building automation systems and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Service and Construction.
• Own departmental P&L performance and manage costs to meet business plan.
• Oversee project management, installation, commissioning, and service delivery for building automation systems.
• Develop and standardize workflows, checklists, and procedures for scalable growth.
• Plan manpower, tools, and subcontractor resources to match workload.
• Direct project managers, service supervisors, and technical leads; coach and develop teams.
• Lead business development to secure new construction projects and expand pipeline.
• Collaborate with estimating and sales to prepare bids and proposals.
