Job summary

Republic Finance is seeking Juniors and Seniors for a Branch Operations internship, onsite in Lafayette, LA. You will learn daily branch operations, loan processes, and compliance training while contributing to real projects, with a pathway to full-time employment after graduation.

The program offers hands-on experience, exposure to multiple departments, and a clear opportunity to grow into future roles within Republic Finance.

Qualifications

Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Must be able to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
Must meet background, credit, and pre-employment drug screen standards.

Responsibilities

Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and regulatory training.
Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including allocating files for doc prep; auditing closed files; prep files ready to fund.
Spend time with Manager and Regional VP to understand promotional paths and career potential.
Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
Learn about branch operations process improvement related projects.
Overview of corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are valuable (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting).
