Job summary

First National Bank Alaska is seeking an Operations Supervisor I for the Metro Branch to maintain daily operational integrity and high-quality customer service. The role works closely with the Branch Manager to ensure timely processing, proper controls, and compliant banking practices.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with alternating Saturdays; salary starts at $57,200 annually. The candidate should have a bachelor's in business, accounting, or finance or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance and two years bank operations/deposit experience; or four years related bank operations/deposit experience.
• Six months in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Strong customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and mentors branch staff to deliver high-quality service.
• Oversees daily branch operations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Promotes exceptional customer service and builds customer relationships.
• Works with Branch Manager to meet timelines and financial targets.
• Maintains branch security and minimizes losses.
• Provides training on banking products and One Solution approach.
• Addresses complaints per policy.
• Participates in audits and ensures proper documentation.
