Job summary

Motion & Flow Control Products, Inc. is seeking a Branch Operations Associate for our Santa Maria, CA location.

This role combines counter/service responsibilities with warehouse and light production duties, handling orders, stock, and customer pickups in a fast-paced industrial distribution setting. Key tasks include providing prompt customer service, processing orders, stocking inventory, building hose assemblies, and shipping products.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work with a wide variety of people.
Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook; Epicor Prophet 21 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, professional counter, phone, and electronic customer service; respond to inquiries, orders, and complaints.
Process sales, quotes, and production orders in the system; maintain documentation and paperwork.
Estimate and communicate order/delivery timelines based on inventory levels and production schedules.
Receive, inspect, stock, and verify incoming products; stock to proper locations.
Pull, pick, allocate, and distribute product to fulfill orders; operate RF scanner as required.
Build hose assemblies and perform quality checks; assist with testing and finishing.
Package, label, and ship orders; ensure shipments are accurate and secure.
