Job summary

MECU Credit Union is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations at our Dundalk branch. You will coach tellers and MSRs, ensure service excellence, and uphold MECU policies and regulatory requirements.

Your leadership will foster trusted member relationships and a high-performing team. You will supervise diverse staff, manage priorities, and maintain open communication to meet member needs while adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business or 3+ years as Assistant Manager in a financial institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in member service.
• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory/coaching experience.
• 5+ years Teller and MSR II experience or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Saturday hours required.

Responsibilities

• Assists Branch Manager to ensure efficient branch operation.
• Coaches staff to optimum performance and supervises Tellers and MSRs.
• Ensures staff understands MECU policies and procedures and complies with regulations.
• Oversees teller and platform functions and acts as MSR/Teller when needed.
