Job summary

Municipal Employees Credit Union of Baltimore (MECU) is hiring a Member Service Representative I/II for the Randallstown branch to deliver exceptional member experiences. You will open new accounts, assist with deposits and loan inquiries, and provide accurate information about MECU products and services to members and prospective members.

You will cross-sell products, help with teller functions as needed, and promote MECU services while maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• GED accepted in lieu of high school diploma.
• Experience in financial services or sales is preferred for higher-level role.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and provide accurate account information to members.
• Handle face-to-face inquiries and provide information on MECU products and services.
• Perform a variety of transactional services for member accounts (deposits, loans).
• Cross-sell relevant products based on member needs.
• Assist with teller functions and participate in on-the-job training for MSR I.
• Execute routine account-related requests (fund transfers, stop payments, check verifications).
