Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead and direct the delivery of high-quality service, maximize branch productivity, and support safety and process excellence. You will work with the Branch Manager to coach staff, ensure policy compliance, and drive profitability through effective operations and customer care.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in sales/operations, 2+ years of supervision, and strong leadership along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• 2+ years supervision and leadership experience.
• High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager in achieving financial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies.
• Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items and coaching staff.
• Support sales and customer service; process quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Ensure staff training and compliance with Rental Flow Process to drive cost efficiency.
• Handle day-to-day operations such as opening/closing, cash and deposits.
• Motivate and train personnel.
• Promote safety culture through leadership and accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.
