Job summary

Blackhawk Industrial Group is seeking a seasoned Branch Manager to take full ownership of branch performance, including P&L ownership, budgeting, staffing, dispatch, quoting, and facility operations. This role rewards a hands-on operations leader who prioritizes safety, builds strong teams, and nurtures key customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will drive financial targets, lead performance reviews, and partner with HR on hiring and training.

Qualifications

5+ years of operations leadership experience in relevant industries.
3-4 years of P&L management experience including budgeting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to work a highly flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Valid driver's license with clean MVRS.

Responsibilities

Own the branch P&L, including revenue, gross margin, labor, equipment, materials, rentals, and overhead.
Develop the annual budget and monitor results against it, adjusting as needed.
Champion health and safety and track safety metrics with leadership.
Ensure compliance with regulations and audit-ready records.
Align staffing with backlog and workload; monitor overtime and billable labor.
Oversee quotes, pricing, and change orders; manage dispatch and scheduling.
Oversee purchasing, inventory, and facility controls.
Deliver timely reporting and lead weekly operational meetings.
