Job summary

First Financial Bank is hiring a Branch Operations Specialist to support branch operations, assist with account opening and maintenance, teller transactions, and regulatory compliance across our banking centers.

This full-time, on-site role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, teamwork, and process improvement within Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, or Georgia. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5+ years of branch banking, teller, customer service, or branch operations experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of retail banking products and branch procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other business apps.

Responsibilities

• Support branch operations: provide timely assistance on account opening, maintenance, teller transactions, and procedures.
• Research and resolve issues: interpret policies and provide clear guidance for consistent branch execution.
• Serve as a trusted resource: help staff navigate systems, regulatory requirements, and daily processes.
• Monitor operational activities: complete reports, track data, and follow up on items for Branch Administration.
• Provide team coverage: partner with other Branch Operations Specialists to support banking centers.
• Promote compliance: apply bank policies and regulatory requirements in daily operations.
