Branch Operations Specialist

Location: Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, or Georgia (On-Site @ FFB Branch or Lending Office)

Status: Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt

What You’ll Do
  • Support branch operations: Provide timely assistance to Retail associates by answering questions related to account opening, account maintenance, teller transactions, retail systems, and operational procedures.
  • Research and resolve issues: Investigate operational questions, interpret policies and procedures, and provide clear guidance that supports consistent branch execution.
  • Serve as a trusted resource: Help banking center associates navigate systems, regulatory requirements, and day-to-day operational processes while delivering outstanding internal customer service.
  • Monitor operational activities: Complete reports, track operational data, and follow up on outstanding items to support Branch Administration and leadership.
  • Support department initiatives: Assist with procedure updates, system enhancements, operational projects, and other initiatives that improve branch efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide team coverage: Partner with fellow Branch Operations Specialists to ensure continuous support for banking centers across the organization.
  • Promote compliance: Apply Bank policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements while supporting consistent execution throughout the retail network.
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diplomarequired
  • 5+ years of branch banking, teller, customer service, or branch operations experience preferred
  • Previousexperience as a Branch Operations Coordinator, Teller Supervisor, or similar leadership role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of retail banking products, account opening, account maintenance, teller operations, and branch procedures
  • Experience using retail banking systems, including teller, account servicing, and sales platforms
  • Ability to interpret and apply Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities whilemaintainingaccuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods whileusing a computer and telephone
  • Ability to communicate effectively with associates through verbal and written communication
  • Ability to review detailed information and documentation requiring close visual attention
  • Ability to commute to the primary work location and occasionally to other work locations within driving distance.
