Meier Supply Co Inc. is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in the Buffalo, NY area. You will support the Branch Manager in daily operations, drive sales initiatives, and supervise inside sales staff to deliver excellent customer service and profitability.

The role requires HVAC, sales, and supervisory experience, with travel for onboarding and ongoing training. We value teamwork, growth, and a strong customer-focus in a 100% employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years HVAC experience.
• 3-5 years sales experience.
• Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years Customer Service experience.
• 3-5 years Warehouse/Distribution experience.
• Proficient MS Office.
• Forklift training.

Responsibilities

• Develops strong customer relationships to promote satisfaction, sales growth, and increased revenue.
• Support and coach the inside sales team to achieve customer service and sales goals.
• Identify new business opportunities through counter or phone sales and communicate leads to the outside sales team or Branch Manager.
• Help plan, coordinate, and direct branch operations to ensure efficiency and service quality.
• Supervise and assist with scheduling, assigning tasks, coaching, and performance feedback for branch employees.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager and Regional Manager on pricing and margins.
• Oversee daily cycle counts, annual inventories, and inventory control processes.
• Contribute to annual branch plan and merchandising initiatives.
• Directly supervise inside sales team and oversee others; act as Branch Manager in their absence.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
