Santander in New Jersey is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to ensure efficient, secure branch operations and exceptional customer service. You will manage risk, oversee cash handling, and lead a team to grow customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include lobby management, issue resolution, and coaching staff to achieve high standards of accuracy and service while coordinating with digital tools to enhance customer engagement.

Formación

• 3+ years in branch banking or related operations.
• 12+ months Santander experience in branch operations.
• 18+ months cash handling experience.
• 18+ months customer service in high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in cash handling and auditing.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Data-driven decision making for branch performance.
• Knowledge of policy, compliance, risk management and loss prevention.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
• Oversee operational risk controls for vault and ATM custody.
• Ensure elevated customer experience and smooth lobby management.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Build relationships to foster loyalty and drive engagement.
• Engage customers via digital channels and promote self-service.
• Conduct cash counts and maintain audit logs.
• Support teller line with coaching and feedback.
• Communicate clearly with customers in person, phone, or digital.
• Use data-driven insights to improve branch performance.
• Assist colleagues with development goals and career growth.
• May support nearby branches as needed.
