Job summary

Chase is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager-Operations in New York to lead day-to-day branch operations and ensure compliance with banking regulations. You will coach Associate Bankers, deliver exceptional client experiences, and partner with the Branch Manager to create a welcoming, efficient branch.

You will greet clients, plan staffing, oversee audits and loss controls, and promote self-service banking options while upholding Chase's hospitality and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience or retail banking experience.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings.
• High school diploma or GED or foreign equivalent.
• Leadership and operational proficiency to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Experience with audits and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and inspire Associate Bankers to deliver seamless service, coaching on policies, procedures, products, systems, and banking transactions.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to run day-to-day operations and create a welcoming environment with exceptional client experiences.
• Greet clients warmly and build trusted relationships.
• Strategically plan staffing to meet branch needs and priorities.
• Oversee branch operations, focusing on loss control, compliance, and audits.
