McGowan Electrical Supply Inc. is seeking an Associate Branch Manager to oversee all aspects of our satellite branch operation in Adrian, Michigan. The role focuses on leading staff, driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a willingness to learn the electrical wholesale market and manage a busy warehouse/counter environment.

Qualifications

• Management experience in peripheral markets (Retail, Industrial) markets is a plus.
• Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices.
• Ability to drive sales and meet operational expectations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Results driven, customer and people focused.
• Leadership and management skills.
• College degree preferred but flexible pending candidates experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct all operational aspects of the branch including sales, operations, customer service, personnel and administration.
• Assess and adapt to local market conditions,
• Identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
• Meet goals and metrics.
• Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
• Stay abreast of competition in market and provide regular updates on market movement and penetration.
• Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
• Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
