Job summary

NorthEast Electrical in Claremont, NH is seeking a full-time Branch Manager to lead counter and inside sales and warehouse teams. You will drive branch performance, control operating expenses, manage inventory, and promote our Digital tools to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 3–5 years industry knowledge, strong communication skills, and a track record of hiring and developing staff while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis on business and/or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years industry and product knowledge preferred.
• Strong computer skills with emphasis on Website Navigation.
• Ability to manage others and drive branch sales growth.
• Effective communication across all management levels.
• Sound decision making and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the sales activities of inside and counter sales personnel.
• Supervise and manage all branch personnel activities.
• Interface with manager to coordinate outside sales with branch ops.
• Analyze customer needs and align products; promote Digital Tools.
• Participate in ongoing Digital Tools training.
• Develop and maintain account base; grow house accounts.
• Create annual branch plan and budget.
• Participate in inter-branch and CDC planning.
• Review monthly reports to ensure budget adherence.
• Hire, develop, and train new staff; evaluate performance.
• Ensure return on accounts receivable and inventory assets.
• Support marketing efforts and provide planning/product insights.
• Coordinate with accounts payable for timely invoices.
• Oversee branch paperwork for accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain overall branch safety and security.
