Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting retail operations.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and staff development abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional partners.
• Ability to identify operational risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Experience in banking or credit unions is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Monitor retail adherence to policies, procedures, and risk framework through audits and observations.
• Identify operational, compliance, fraud, and member experience risks and report findings to leadership.
• Serve as SME for retail policies, controls, and regulatory requirements with guidance to leaders and staff.
• Coach and develop retail team members to strengthen risk awareness and service quality.
• Communicate updates, regulatory changes, and strategic initiatives between Learning and Development and frontline staff.
• Partner with leadership to improve operational performance and ensure consistent standards.
• Design and maintain operation resources and process documentation.
• Promote accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement in line with GECU values.
