Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for an Assistant Branch Manager in Greer, SC. You will support branch sales and operations, and manage the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence while helping drive profitability.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in branch operations, coordination of procurement, inventory, shipping, warehousing, and customer service. Preference for forklift experience, Oracle software, knowledge of construction products, and Spanish language skills.

• Customer service and billing accuracy skills

Responsibilities

• Support talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates
• Manages the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence and helps drive branch sales and profitability
• Coordinates procurement, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing and sales per company policies
• Resolves branch-level issues, inventories discrepancies, and adjusts resources as needed
• Serves customers and supports counter and inside sales functions; ensures orders are billed correctly and on time
• Schedules staff and analyzes budgets and variances
• Performs other duties as assigned
