Job summary

Community Bank, N.A. is seeking a Branch Supervisor to oversee a branch or multiple locations in Upstate New York. You will supervise staff, coordinate branch operations, and drive customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

You will lead hiring, training, and performance reviews, manage deposits and lending activities where appropriate, and work with management to achieve growth, sales, and profits. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• A.A.S. degree or equivalent banking education.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum four years of related experience.
• NMLS registration required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the branch office and perform or delegate duties including oversight of service operations; approve overrides; manage ledgers; audits; overdrafts; cash management; ATM balancing; security measures; reporting.
• Establish growth, sales, and profit objectives for the office and monitor performance.
• Solicit new business from current and prospective customers; maintain relationships for cross-selling.
• Monitor sales and customer service performance and discuss with manager.
• Maintain knowledge of consumer products and services to meet customer needs.
• Lead staff meetings, provide ongoing guidance, and ensure customer service excellence.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts in accordance with bank procedures.
• May make loans to customers with oversight as appropriate.
• Coordinate staff hiring, training, and performance reviews; manage scheduling and workload.
• Ensure compliance with laws and internal controls; complete required training; uphold company values.
