Community Financial System, Inc. is seeking a Branch Supervisor to oversee a branch team and daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to bank policies.

The role includes staff supervision, growth planning, and cross-selling opportunities with clients in Upstate NY and neighboring regions. The candidate will supervise employees, manage branch floor activity, and collaborate with management to achieve branch goals while maintaining regulatory compliance and risk

Qualifications

• Previous banking experience or training preferred

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise branch staff and operations, including service overrides and cash handling.
• Assist in setting growth, sales and profit objectives and measurements.
• Solicit new business and maintain client relationships for cross-selling opportunities.
• Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback to management.
• Maintain knowledge of consumer products to meet customer needs.
• Oversee staff meetings and training; ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts and, where appropriate, assist with lending oversight.
• Travel to other branches as needed to support staffing and operations.
