Community Bank, N.A. is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a branch team across Upstate New York, focused on delivering exceptional customer service, driving loan and deposit growth, and ensuring compliance.

You will coach staff, build strong community ties, manage daily operations, assess risks, and report results to management. A minimum five years in leadership and a high school diploma are required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of related leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve branch targets for deposits, loans, and other financial products and services.
• Mentor team on advice-giving strategies to improve customer financial confidence.
• Identify opportunities to acquire new customers through community involvement, networking, and outreach.
• Ensure staff are well-versed in products and capable of cross-selling to meet customer needs.
• Monitor local market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Inspire and motivate branch staff to achieve goals and provide training and performance reviews.
• Address and resolve team conflicts promptly to maintain a positive work environment.
• Foster a customer-first culture and handle complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Engage with the community to build the Bank's reputation and community ties.
• Oversee daily branch operations ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Monitor financial performance and report progress towards goals.
