Job summary

Jensen Landscape Services in Milpitas, CA is seeking a seasoned operations leader to support the Branch Manager in daily branch operations, client service, and project coordination.

The role requires a Bachelor's in business or related field, 8+ years landscape maintenance, 5+ years in people management, and strong Excel/Office skills; you will lead teams, manage schedules, ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, landscape architecture or horticulture preferred.
• 8+ years landscape maintenance experience.
• 5+ years people management experience.
• 5+ years project management experience a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and state requirements.
• CLT or QAL preferred when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Keep Branch Manager informed about employee, customer and operational issues.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch and ensure services meet company standards.
• Lead a team, recruit top talent, and assess strengths/weaknesses of field operations.
• Review performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve area goals.
• Coach and mentor area managers for high performance and career development.
• Implement strategies and monitor KPIs to track progress.
• Address customer and employee problems promptly with follow-up.
• Schedule daily work according to contracts, quality standards, and budgets.
• Facilitate training programs and encourage certification attainment by staff.
• Ensure safety program compliance and safety practices within the team.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and capital investment decisions.
