Job summary

The Growing Company, part of Monarch Landscape Companies, seeks an experienced operations leader to support the Branch Manager in successful branch operations in the Sacramento area. The role emphasizes staffing, process discipline, safety, and client service excellence.

Ideal candidates have extensive landscape maintenance experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to manage complex projects while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, landscape architecture or horticulture preferred.
• 8+ years landscape maintenance experience
• 5+ years people management experience
• 5+ years project management experience a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Keep Branch Manager informed about employee, customer and operational issues
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch and ensure services meet high standards
• Lead a team and recruit talent to strengthen field operations
• Review performance metrics and adjust strategies to hit area goals
• Coach and mentor area managers for high performance and career development
• Ensure safety and compliance across operations and equipment maintenance
• Manage scheduling and ensure budgeting aligns with contracts and quality standards
• Foster training and encourage employees to obtain certifications
