Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for an Assistant Branch Manager in a live-opportunity role. You will support talent acquisition, develop staff, and help run the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence, driving sales and profitability.

The position includes coordinating procurement, inventory control, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and sales while ensuring accurate billing, staff scheduling, and budget analysis. Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in branch management or operations.
• Experience with sales order software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch staff.
• Manage the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence and drive sales/profitability.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and sales per policies.
• Investigate customer complaints and adjust resources to resolve issues.
• Manage inventory discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
• Serve customers, support counter/inside sales, ensure orders are billed correctly, and schedule staff.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in the role.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Operation of a company or personal vehicle; MVR check required.
