Job summary

Sierra Central Credit Union in Arkansas seeks an Operations Manager to partner with the Branch VP to achieve branch production goals and maintain exceptional member service. You will supervise daily activities, monitor compliance, and ensure staff adhere to policies while handling loans, accounts, and member inquiries.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, cash handling expertise, and ability to coach staff, coordinate schedules, and promote a productive work environment across branches

Qualifications

• Must write routine reports and speak effectively to members and employees.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Capable of solving problems with multiple variables.
• Able to read safety rules and operating manuals.
• Proficient in general ledger postings on CU systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform branch operations including loan applications, account openings, and member transactions.
• Maintain branch cash limits and staffing accordingly.
• Assist Branch VP to achieve sales goals through telemarketing and promotions.
• Provide supervision and performance feedback to staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and platform integrity.
• Train staff on teller and back-office duties.
• Travel to other locations for training as needed.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
