Job summary

Chase is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager-Operations to lead branch teams, drive client service, and ensure compliant operations. You will coach Associate Bankers, manage day-to-day branch activities, and create a welcoming, high-performing environment for clients and colleagues alike.

You will partner with the Branch Manager to plan staffing, supervise audits, and uphold loss control while guiding staff through policies and transactions in a fast-paced retail banking setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management or retail banking experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings.
• High school diploma or GED (or foreign equivalent).
• Strong leadership and operational proficiency in a banking environment.
• Experience with branch audits and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach Associate Bankers to deliver accurate transactions and great client service.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to run day-to-day branch operations and create a welcoming environment.
• Greet clients warmly and build trusted relationships as they enter the branch.
• Plan staffing to meet evolving branch needs and communicate priorities to the team.
• Oversee loss control, compliance, and audits to ensure secure, smooth operations.
• Engage clients with proactive, clear communication and resolve issues promptly.
• Promote self-service options to simplify the client experience.
