Job summary

A+ FCU invites applications for an Assistant Branch Manager II to lead daily branch operations at our San Marcos location in Texas. You will supervise staff, support branch goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage member inquiries with a strong service ethic.

The role requires multi-tasking, staff coaching, and coordinating with the Branch Manager on hiring and evaluations. Bachelor’s degree preferred; 4 years financial experience and 2 years supervisory experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Four years of financial institution experience required; two years supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of teller/vault, new accounts, and product knowledge; familiarity with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager in supervising branch employees and daily operations, coaching staff, and input on hiring and evaluations.
• Assist with branch scheduling for productivity, service, and overtime control.
• Meet or exceed branch goals and oversee workflow for Member Services Officers I–III.
• Update timekeeping and payroll; oversee cash handling, vault, and branch balancing.
