Job summary

DPR Construction in Richmond seeks an Assistant Branch Manager for our Richmond Mega Project site to help lead daily operations, oversee workflow, and ensure reliable service and financial accuracy.

You will reinforce best practices in inventory, purchasing, rental and sales documentation, and collaborate with vendors and customers to support branch objectives. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service on a high-profile project.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business administration, construction management, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in equipment rental, construction supply, operations management, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with RentalMan (Wynne Software) preferred.
• Experience with Coupa procure-to-pay software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports branch leadership by helping manage daily operations and workflow execution to ensure reliable service and operational continuity.
• Reinforces established best practices and procedures related to inventory control, purchasing, rental and sales documentation, and financial accuracy.
• Coordinates with vendors, customers, and internal teams to maintain strong business partnerships in support of branch objectives.
• Supports branch financial performance through proactive business report review and associated backend operational processes to ensure financial accuracy, margin optimization, and effective service execution.
• Coordinates with customers, vendors, and internal teams to support high quality service delivery, resolution of routine operational issues, and finding timely solutions for our customers and partners.
• Promotes branch compliance with safety, security, and company policies while supporting facility standards and maintaining a clean, organized, and positive work environment.

Education

Associate’s degree in business administration, construction management, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
