Job summary

Republic Finance is offering a Branch Operations Intern program for current Juniors and Seniors pursuing Finance or Business degrees. The internship is 100% onsite and pays $15.00 per hour, with the possibility of full-time employment after graduation.

Interns will learn loan processes, regulatory training, and daily branch operations while interacting with leadership and teammates. The program exposes participants to career paths inside Branch Operations and related corporate roles.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 18–20 hours per week.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and all necessary regulatory training.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including allocating files for doc prep; auditing closed files; prep files ready to fund.
• Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President learning about responsibilities at their levels to understand the promotional path to see what your career potential is with Republic Finance.
• Attend regional meetings and/or workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division of the company.
• Learn about one or more Branch Operations process improvement related projects.
• Learn about corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are often strongly desired (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.). We will also provide you with an overview of our benefits during the program.
