Job summary

Republic Finance, LLC is offering an on-site Branch Operations Intern program for current Juniors or Seniors majoring in Business or Finance. You will gain hands-on experience in daily branch operations and learn about the broader organization, including sales, customer service, compliance training, and loan closings.

Interns will be paid $15.00 per hour with a plan to transition to full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing determined by state background check.

Responsibilities

• Learn the loan process and regulatory training through accelerated Assistant Branch Manager Program.
• Assist in loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including file preparation and auditing.
• Spend time with Manager and Regional VP to understand promotional paths and career potential.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about branch operations process-improvement projects.
• Explore corporate roles where branch experience is valued (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting).
