Job summary

QXO is offering a 12-week Summer Internship Program designed to give students hands-on exposure in a fast-paced, results-driven organization. Branch Operations interns are embedded within QXO branch locations across the United States, gaining experience in sales, customer service, inventory, logistics, and more.

Interns work with mentors, receive regular feedback, and complete a final project presented to QXO leaders, showcasing insights and recommendations to drive business priorities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated initiative, adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in gaining hands-on business experience and learning more about career opportunities at QXO.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day business priorities within your assigned branch.
• Gain hands-on exposure to branch operations, including sales, customer service, inventory, logistics, and other core business activities.
• Work alongside QXO leaders and team members to understand our customers, products, markets, and business priorities.
• Take ownership of assigned work and use data and insights to solve problems and improve processes.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional activities to understand how branch operations connect to the broader QXO business.
• Support initiatives focused on sales growth, customer engagement, operational efficiency, inventory management, and process improvement.
• Build relationships with interns, mentors, leaders, and colleagues while developing business, communication, and leadership skills.
