Sonepar USA is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations, including sales, warehouse, delivery, and administration, while driving efficiency and profitability. You will lead staff development, manage inventory, and negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication to partner with management and customers across the organization and community.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate proficiently in English to perform essential functions.
• Leadership experience with exempt and non-exempt employees; train, develop, and foster a positive culture.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting information to management, customers, vendors, employees, and the public.
• Ability to leverage knowledge of supply chain, logistics, operations inventory, and sale profitability to increase efficiency and coach associates.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization and with customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and provide innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in using CRMs, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations to achieve efficiency, economy, and profit maximization.
• Manage sales, warehouse, delivery, and administrative functions, directly or via supervisors.
• Interact with customers to enhance service levels and meet sales targets; resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Hire and train branch staff, conduct evaluations, and manage personnel matters.
• Monitor and manage branch inventory, reconcile discrepancies, and lead regular stock-taking.
• Negotiate pricing and resolve vendor issues with local and company purchasing teams.
• Prepare branch budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans to support growth and efficiency.
