Job summary

Axis Portable Air is a nationwide equipment rental leader delivering and installing portable HVAC units. As Branch Coordinator, you will support sales with quotes, manage daily dispatch, and ensure timely delivery to customer sites, including overnight stays when required.

You will also lead safety training, handle contracts with AR and finance, and work 24/7 on-call shifts to meet peak-season demand while growing leadership and branch-management skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in operations, dispatch, or a leadership role in HVAC, mechanical, or service-based industries.
• Dispatch and Scheduling Skills: manage dispatch, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Technical Knowledge: familiarity with HVAC or mechanical equipment is a plus.
• Customer Service Skills: strong communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills.
• Organizational Skills: highly detail-oriented and expert multi-tasker.
• Tech Proficiency: in Microsoft Office and operating software.
• Safety Focus: understanding of safety regulations and compliance.
• Clean Driving Record: valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• DOT Medical Card: ability to obtain and maintain a DOT card.
• Desire to Grow: grow in contract and branch management and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales Activity – Create quotes and proposals; communicate ETAs with salespeople; coordinate meetings between sales and operations.
• Manage Daily Dispatch – Schedule and dispatch routes; optimize team productivity and resource allocation.
• Safety and Compliance – Enforce safety protocols and lead weekly safety training.
• Contract Management – Compile and verify customer contracts; coordinate with AR/finance teams.
• Load, Deliver & Install Equipment – service various sites, including long drives or overnight stays.
