Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Branch Administrative Manager to support the Othello, WA location. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to supervise tellers, process transactions, open new accounts, and guide clients to the right banking products, while upholding Breakthrough Client Service standards.

You will coach staff, ensure audits pass, support personal bankers, manage wire transfers and other branch tasks, and develop relationships with local consumers and businesses to deepen client

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in banking, business, or related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of retail banking experience required.
• 3 years of branch operational experience preferred.
• 3 years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Customer service background in retail or banking.
• Demonstrated ability to grow sales by developing long-lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach tellers; lead personal bankers as needed.
• Open new accounts; process loan requests and gather credit information.
• Oversee branch tasks: opening/closing, overdraft monitoring, wire transfers, stop payments, and branch controls.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with consumers and businesses; cross-sell bank services.
• Monitor sales and service goals; coach staff to deepen client relationships.
• Ensure branch meets operations standards and passes audits.
