Job summary

CPB Group is seeking a Branch Operations & Development Manager in Honolulu to lead the Branch Certification Program and UBMT. You will shape development programs for Universal Bankers, Assistant Managers, and future leaders, aligning with sales, service, risk, and operational goals.

You will oversee certification readiness, coaching, and career planning tools, partnering with HR and branch leadership to ensure a strong talent pipeline and organizational readiness across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4‑year university, preferably in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Branch operations, universal banker, or related area.
• 5+ years of Supervisory experience or 3+ years of management in a retail banking environment.
• 2+ years of Training, facilitation, or structured development programs (formal or informal) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management for the branch team.
• Lead the UBMT program design, curriculum, rotations, mentoring, and placement.
• Develop a bank-wide pipeline of Universal Bankers and Leaders with clear career paths.
• Coach UBMT participants and staff in sales, service standards, and operational excellence.
• Own branch career planners and tools outlining role expectations and promotions.
• Partner with HR and managers to socialize career opportunities and talent development.
• Coordinate certification and development initiatives with multiple teams.
• Standardize processes for Branch Certification, UBMT, and branch readiness.
