Job summary

Gather Federal Credit Union in Hawaii is seeking a Branch Manager to lead branch operations, coach staff, and ensure superior member service while complying with regulatory requirements. The role reports to the Vice President of Operations and supports the credit union’s mission through effective leadership and process improvements.

The successful candidate will manage cash, security, and daily workflows, promote products, and foster community relations while maintaining a high performing team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred; supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a financial institution required.
• Experience in lending and/or operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, hires, trains, and mentors branch staff, fostering professional growth, engagement, and a positive team culture.
• Manages all daily branch operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to policies; oversees cash management, vault/ATM/ITM operations, and balancing processes; maintains branch safety and security.
• Promotes branch compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures, including BSA compliance; communicates regulatory changes and facilitates training.
• Provides support with general loan inquiries and assists members with loan applications; ensures membership eligibility and compliant lending processes.
• Ensures reports, records, and confidential materials are securely stored; oversees branch maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and security.
• Maintains good public relations with membership, community groups, and business organizations.
• Maintains adequate branch supplies and orders more as needed.
