Qualifications

• 1 month to 12 months of similar or related experience.
• A high school education or GED.
• Discretion and diplomacy in communication with others.
• Familiarity with office equipment and teller procedures.
• Ability to stand 5+ hours a day and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Understanding of Credit Union operations and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service while processing routine teller transactions.
• Proficient in using Symitar, cash recyclers, check scanning, PSCU, Star Station, Synapsis, TimeTrade.
• Maintain cash and negotiables, balance cash drawer nightly.
• Assist members with requests such as file maintenance, wire transfers, direct deposit, check ordering, stop payments, and issuing temporary checks.
• Initiate conversations and refer opportunities to deepen financial relationships.
• Follow regulatory guidelines (Reg CC/Funds Availability, Truth in Savings, BSA/AML, Reg E, Privacy).
• Adhere to safety and security guidelines.
• May perform Front Desk Functions: greet visitors and log them in using TimeTrade.
• Identify suspicious transaction activity.
