Job summary

The Bank of Missouri in Columbia, MO is seeking a full-time Banking Sales & Service leader to drive branch sales, service, and referrals while maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will coach staff, manage deposits and loans, pursue new business in the local market, and ensure audit, risk, and policy compliance at the branch. The role emphasizes community engagement and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or five to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive all aspects of the Sales & Service processes. Plan and facilitate sales meetings to discuss sales results and promotions.
• Oversee the delivery of quality customer service at the branch through personal contact with customers and prospects.
• Assist customers with inquiries and information requests, and resolve concerns and issues relating to deposit and loan products and services offered.
• Provide motivation and coaching to staff to ensure that assigned goals are achieved.
• Develop and implement plans to include calling on maturing accounts, sales leads, referrals, new account follow-up, and other prospecting opportunities for the designated market area.
• Promote, explain, and sell all retail banking products; ask clients for referrals.
• Develop new business opportunities and may conduct outside sales calls; monitor and adjust programs to achieve goals.
• Authorize transactions per bank policy; address and resolve client concerns and ensure audit integrity and security.
• Maintain product knowledge and train staff on product knowledge, sales, referrals, customer service, policies and procedures.
• Oversee all special deposit-related functions for large depositors and business clients.
