Job summary

Central Bank in Missouri (Moberly Main) seeks an Assistant/Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in sales, service, and daily operations. You will act as teller, CSR, and supervisor, promoting bank products while ensuring compliant, efficient service.

The role requires leadership, strong customer relations, and the ability to coach staff while maintaining branch security and regulatory adherence. On-site, full-time position with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and training with at least 2 years of banking experience and 1 year of management experience referred.
• Advanced knowledge of teller and new account functions, bank regulations, bank policies and procedures and bank products and services.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with accuracy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong customer relations skills.
• Must work with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive, professional manner.
• Good judgment and ability to handle confidential information and work quickly and accurately to analyze information and make decisions is required.
• Demonstrates ability to proactively assume additional responsibilities/duties/projects.
• Successful completion of in-house training programs.
• Computer skills (email, printer, copy, Microsoft Office), Image Scanner, Cash Counting Machine, Cash Dispensing Machine and Coin Counter

Responsibilities

• Assists Branch Manager in sales, service, and day-to-day operations.
• Maintains knowledge of bank's sales, service and operations.
• Acts as teller and customer service rep; supervises operations and sales.
• Opens and closes facility, handles cash and audits cash box.
• Leads staff by example; coaches and motivates employees.
• Promotes bank products and services to customers and educates staff.
• Ensures customer services are provided and resolves banking concerns.
• Responds to daily activities based on traffic and requests; keeps Manager informed.
• Oversees branch operations including staffing, loss prevention, and staff development.
• Promotes a team atmosphere and Legendary Service to customers and coworkers.
• Remains informed about security, fraud protections, and regulatory compliance.
• Interacts with other departments to complete requests and referrals.
• Assists in achieving personal and facility sales goals.
• Oversees branch audits and information security initiatives.
• Assumes branch responsibilities in the Branch Manager's absence.
