Job summary

SAFE FCU in Lexington, SC is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily operations of a medium-sized branch, drive sales and service culture, coach staff, and ensure compliance with policies.

You will manage lending, deposits, budgets, audits, and community engagement, hire and train employees, and represent SAFE at events while maintaining high member satisfaction and branch profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; GED or HS diploma required.
• Two years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Notary Public, Mortgage Loan Origination (MLO), Signature Guarantee Medallion certifications mentioned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sales and service culture and coach staff to meet goals.
• Ensure adherence to Member Experience Service Standards.
• Perform essential teller, MSP, loan interviewer/officer, and senior teller duties as needed.
• Manage branch lending, deposits, and related services including ATMs.
• Hire, train, develop, direct, motivate, and reward branch personnel.
• Oversee facilities, equipment, and security systems within the branch.
• Prepare and submit annual budget and audit-related reports.
• Conduct ATM/CDM/vault audits and internal control checks.
• Represent SAFE FCU with Shaw Air Force Base and community organizations.
