Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking an accomplished Branch Manager in Elyria, OH to lead day-to-day branch operations and drive sales, deposits, and service excellence. You will own the branch business, coach a high-performing team, and build community partnerships to extend banking solutions.

The role emphasizes operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and a customer-first culture while leveraging digital tools and ESOP-based growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive banking, sales, or customer service experience and 1 year leadership experience.
• OR a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of progressive banking, sales, or customer service experience.
• OR successful completion of the Branch Manager in Training (MIT) program and a minimum of 6 months of applied MIT experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills, sales acumen, and comfort with technology-driven banking solutions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the branch as a business owner – driving performance, managing resources, and making decisions that support long-term growth and profitability.
• Lead with accountability, driving and achieving sales goals and expectations for your team and consistently measuring results.
• Lead branch operations with a strategic focus on deposit growth and wealth management referrals.
• Manage all aspects of branch operations, including compliance, security, cash handling, and expense control.
• Deliver the Woodforest Experience by ensuring every customer interaction is warm, personalized, and solution oriented.
