Job summary

The Restaurant Store in Pennsauken, NJ is seeking a Branch Manager Intern to gain day-to-day operations exposure in a retail branch environment. You will contribute to customer service excellence and support sales, purchasing, and inventory teams to meet business goals.

You will help implement our proven process to build brand awareness, assess customer needs, exceed expectations, and foster loyalty while handling basic cashier duties and merchandising tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-focused retail or B2B sales is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive B2B sales and customer service to strengthen relationships with customers.
• Follow the TRS process: build brand awareness, assess needs, exceed expectations, and build loyalty.
• Perform basic cashier tasks and load products into customers' vehicles.
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising, restock shelves, and handle incoming stock.
• Analyze inventory data to determine product availability and reorder status.
• Promote private label brands to maximize gross profit.
• Educate customers on the Brick and Click model and our competitive advantages.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Branch Manager Intern with The Restaurant Store will gain a day-to-day operations perspective in a retail branch environment and become a contributor to a high level of customer service and satisfaction.The Branch Manager Intern will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective customer service strategies that align with the goals of our sales, purchasing, and inventory teams.

• Conduct business-to-business sales and customer service with a focus on building and developing relationship with our customer base
• Execute on our proven TRS process: 1) build brand awareness, 2) assess customer’s needs, 3) exceed expectations, and 4) build loyalty
• Perform basic cashier functions and loading products into customer vehicles
• Perform general store maintenance through cleaning and merchandising functions, while also restocking shelves and putting away incoming stock
• Analyze basic inventory information to determine product availability and re-order status
• Promote our private label brands to maximize TRS gross profit
• Educate prospective customers on our competitive advantages (best people, best technology, and best price)
• Possess and maintain a thorough understanding of our website and educate customers on how to best-utilize our “Brick and Click” business model
