The Restaurant Store is seeking a Branch Manager Intern in Orlando to gain day-to-day operations exposure in a retail branch, contributing to customer service excellence and cross‑functional goals with sales, purchasing, and inventory teams.

You will support brand-building and customer needs assessment while learning our processes to drive loyalty and profitability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills are needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business-to-business sales and customer service with a focus on building and developing relationships with our customer base.
• Execute the TRS process: build brand awareness, assess customer needs, exceed expectations, and build loyalty.
• Perform basic cashier functions and loading products into customer vehicles.
• Maintain store appearance through cleaning and merchandising; restock shelves and incoming stock.
• Analyze inventory data to determine product availability and reorder status.
• Promote private label brands to maximize TRS gross profit.
• Educate prospective customers on competitive advantages of our offerings.
• Educate customers on the Brick and Click business model.

Job Summary

The Branch Manager Intern with The Restaurant Store will gain a day-to-day operations perspective in a retail branch environment and become a contributor to a high level of customer service and satisfaction. The Branch Manager Intern will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective customer service strategies that align with the goals of our sales, purchasing, and inventory teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business-to-business sales and customer service with a focus on building and developing relationship with our customer base
• Execute on our proven TRS process: 1) build brand awareness, 2) assess customer’s needs, 3) exceed expectations, and 4) build loyalty
• Perform basic cashier functions and loading products into customer vehicles
• Perform general store maintenance through cleaning and merchandising functions, while also restocking shelves and putting away incoming stock
• Analyze basic inventory information to determine product availability and re-order status
• Promote our private label brands to maximize TRS gross profit
• Educate prospective customers on our competitive advantages (best people, best technology, and best price)
• Possess and maintain a thorough understanding of our website and educate customers on how to best-utilize our “Brick and Click” business model

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

• Relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management preferred
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Preference will be given to juniors and seniors or those graduating in the 2026 or 2027 school years

Education
